Teens Take the Wheel: Exploring Youth Agency Through Our Urban Skies – Equitable Universe Project at Two Urban STEM Focused Museums

Urban Skies - Equitable Universe is a youth co-designed program for middle-schoolers, using OpenSpace software to explore the Solar System. Michigan Science Center in partnership with American Museum of Natural History will share strategies used to co-design with youth, equity-centered practices deployed, and activities that foster emerging STEM identities and technical skills.
